This is just s simple piece of work drawn with an ultra fine tip sharpie on medium weight paper. It has an old friends name hidden in it that's where the title came from. This is one of the very first finished pieces I have. I spent over a week drawing it and I used a few different pens. I realized when looking at the complete piece that when turned the right way there are more than just letters hidden.

About the artist:

I'm a 21 year old artist trying to get my work out there. I want to know your honest opinion, you're not going to hurt my feelings. I have drawings of all sorts however my favorite is abstract.
I started drawing abstract honestly because I had a hard time drawing things that I couldn't see, so I figured, I'll draw something nobody has EVER seen. I started off using the same pen I did my class work with in high school, drawing on printer paper I bummed off of my teachers. Once I got the hang of the style I liked I started using better art tools, simple but better. Sharpies became my best friend, ultra fine point for the more detailed designs and fine point for the bigger shapes. I've slowly evolved my art into cleaner, more complex drawings, some of which I'm very proud of. After I got the hang of black and white drawings I tried adding a bit of color via sharpie. I'm very fond of those markers. Next I decided to change it up completely, I had heard that using melted crayons looked pretty sweet on paper and BAM! All kind of ideas started going through my mind. I mixed my pen and paper art with the melted wax idea, started using tempera paint and came up with some pretty
crazy looking works of art.

I defiantly have a long way to go before I'm anywhere close to being an "amazing" artist but I try to learn as much as I can whenever possible. I've never actually taken an art class so I use online tutorials, PDF books, and a lot of my close friends opinions to learn. The online recourses are awesome for learning new things, but, I really like hearing what people think. Everyone has an opinion, not that I base my work off of what is said I would just like to know if there are people out there who would put my art on their wall.

Other than abstract art, I'm trying to learn how to use pencil to draw still art. I have a couple done, but I defiantly need some work. I hope my knowledge of art continues to grow substantially along with my artistic capabilities. No matter if it does or not I'll continue to draw because it is something I thoroughly enjoy.
