Design by Luca Nichetto and Gianpietro Gai, 2004.After the fanciful Foscarini lamps Rha, Thor and O-space, the two designers turned to the challenging task of a wall and ceiling lamp project. GEA, a lamp of pronounced graphic value that recalls optical art, is well suited to both domestic and public environments. It can characterize its surroundings discreetly or with decisive impact when mounted in a composition on the wall.Gea has a flat surface in thermoformed methacrylate obtained by "deformation" and a glossy finish in white, or cream. It modifies itself naturally and plastically to accommodate and use an efficient circular light bulb.
