Carolina V. Gentry, RID When I was looking I found some for less than 2K. I'm not sure how much stair you need but 7K seems high to me. Good Luck!!

rfitch1915 Is the cost related to the size in diameter? I'm looking to put one in a c1865 one room school house in upstate NY that I've restored. It would go to the sleeping loft. Is metal more than wood ?

I'm completely open. To metal spiral case if it's much cheaper. It would take up less space too. Dad is more resistant but considering we have a door upstairs too, I'm not sure why.
