PPDS Thanks for the compliment! The builder of the home (Triton Custom Homes) actually constructed it and - believe it or not - the shiny, metal look is actually a vinyl wall covering! Hope that helps. We appreciate your questions!
The subway tile is a Palmer Todd product from the Winchester Collection called Residence. It is a 2-1/2” x 5-1/8” tile that comes standard in a “glossy” sheen. We used a grout by Hydroment called H177 Designer-Bright White.
Palmer Todd's website shows this installation image using the same subway tile.
Jamie Herzlinger hello,
This looks like a chocolate brown marble which is called Chinese St. Laurent. You can also get this look with a chocolate brown granite called Cohiba. Good luck!

davlarso I love this counter, but have been cautioned against using marble in a kitchen. If we do the coco cohiba, is there a finish you'd suggest? Standard polished finish?
