Jan Gunn Interior Architecture and Design I don't know who makes it, but it is available at Italics in Emeryville Ca and Ann Sacks which has stores all over the US.
This mosaic tile is truly amazing in this asian-inspired bathroom and I think is gorgeous how the vertically stacked slate looks rustic and modern at the same time. The dark tone and exotic plants create a sultry and high-end look that is worthy of a magazine cover.
The shower is the perfect place to start playing around with mosaic tiles because it's so hard to go wrong in this part of the home. Tiles add a natural feeling to the shower, as though you are out bathing in the nature of a waterfall surrounded by stones. Choose natural colors accordingly. Here we see that the addition of some natural soaps and some great shower curtains can really enhance the feeling of nature that you get when enjoying a shower in this bathroom.
Love the idea of a dark mosaic shower.. it adds that bit of hotel luxury and is very calming after a long day.... these colours would be fantastic with copper fittings in the shower and bathroom..

Design Elements
Texture
The tile itself has it's own texture but again, the varied use of color creates a visual texture. The shower curtain and plant accessories balance out the hard, rough tile with softness.
