Greenlake Foyer craftsman-entry

Greenlake Foyer

Blue Sound Construction assisted these homeowners in the building of an entirely new custom home filled with vintage and traditional details. Thick crown moulding, tall baseboards, Brazilian Cherry wood flooring, vintage hardware and lighting, and an open, sunlit staircase make the most of the home's charming location overlooking Seattle's Greenlake. Just right proportions give the home a British Colonial flair while maintaining consistency with Seattle's traditional craftsman style.

Architect: Paul Aiello, PS. Photo: Christine Clark.

Someday, we will knock out our boring walled off stairway and build something like this.

This is what our entry might look like with painted woodwork (and a cleaned up/reformatted banister)
