One of the drawings I did in my live drawing class. They often bring in people with very interesting faces to draw which usually aren't considered the most beautiful.

About the artist:

I was born drawing realistically. I really believe it is something you are born with and can't learn. I was pretty much stuck drawing in black and white until an art teacher in Rio de Janeiro told me he would explode my world into color. And that he did. Under his tutelage, my art exploded into color at the foot of Corcovado mountain in Rio de Janeiro, one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
When I returned to the United States I was represented by the young artist gallery in the prestigious Los Angeles County Museum of Art with people lining up to rent and buy my work. Funny thing is, I was a computer scientist by trade in the area of computers and human language. People loved my work but it took second place to my science and has laid dormant.
  • Now, decades later, I'm back ready to make art that is beautiful for more people to enjoy. I also will consider doing portraits if inspired.
And just maybe, one of my works will find its way onto your wall. Like my mom tells me even today: your art talent should not be hidden in your house but out in the world for all to see!
