ASVInteriors I believe you are correct. They are seasonal (summer) - you can find them in your local flowershop (or ask there); However, M. Dittmar might respond with more accurate info.
Brian Dittmar Design, Inc. They are Lisianthus -- I get them at our local flower mart and assume you should be able to find them somewhere near wherever it is that you live.
Love the chair. What company makes it? - Trying to duplcate this room for my master bedroom. I am down to the chair right now. Plese answer my question. Also what is the color of the chair? »
Brian Dittmar Design, Inc. It was a custom chair found at a consignment store here in San Francisco. Baker used to have something similar, but not sure if they still do. Bolier & Co. might have something along those lines. It's a sort of camel colored leather, by the way. Good luck!
Brian Dittmar Design, Inc. The base is a burl wood veneer with polished chrome feet. They were from Williams Sonoma Home but are no longer available. I would estimate they were about 21" tall. The base was square--probably about 7 or 8". The shade was a custom shade and was probably 16" x 10" or so.
Nancy Brennan Thank you so much for your quick reply. You guys are great. This bedroom is unbelievably beautiful . Your estimates of the lamp will really help me create one like it. Chrome base. I guess the black is just a reflection in the chrome.
thank you , thank you
Re: The other paint color under the window - This room is beautiful! Could you please provide me with the paint color that is under the window. Thanks so much! »
Brian Dittmar Design, Inc. Thank you, glad you like it. It's the same color that's on all the walls: Benjamin Moore "Sparrow" AF720. This room has lots of natural light and we used additional artificial lights for the photo shoot, so you might find that color to be very dark if your lighting is not like this. Good luck!
bebarcia I have a lot of windows in my master bedroom but it faces in a direction that does not give a lot of light. Could you suggest another paint color that would work with the color scheme you have going in this room but is lighter?
What company makes the nightstand - What company makes the nightstand? It looks just like what i have been trying to find; the right size and color. It would look perfect beside a very similiar upholstered bed that I have! »
Brian Dittmar Design, Inc. It was from a San Francisco retail store called Big Pagoda that has since closed. They may have an online presence, so you might Google them.
There's lots of natural (and artificial) light in this photo, so it may seem lighter than the actual paint chip. Always do a test in your particular room to see how the color works in that space.
Brian Dittmar Design, Inc. They were from Williams Sonoma Home, but I am fairly certain they are no longer available. You might check with Visual Comfort or Robert Abbey and see if they offer burled wood lamps.
This is the area where you can really make a statement with lamps. I find that square lampshades, or round lampshades that are 14 inches or less in diameter, work best against a wall.
