Barnhart Gallery Only one wall? I think if you did anything other than floor to ceiling, it would look unfinished, as in -- "When are you going to put up the rest of it?" But a total wall installation would look both intentional and pretty great.
Airoom Architects-Builders-Remodelers You can have it match the top of your sink, like in this first photo, or the bottom of the mirror, as in this second photo. Carrying it up to the ceiling may look too heavy, and emphasize that wall too much, instead of using it to accent the fixtures.
kfast Thank you! I'm looking for a good, subtle robin's egg blue - one without lots of green in it and with a bit of gray. People have said Woodlawn Blue by BM but it's got a bit too much green for me. So hard to find! Let me know if you have any ideas.

All the selections in this bathroom are classic, but what sets it apart and makes it modern is the vibrant blue color selected for the walls above the beadboard.
Beadboard can be run up to the center of the wall or higher — there really aren't any rules here. Running tile all the way up, however, would be a more expensive proposition.
Your choice of colors will affect the overall feel of the room. Here, the dark black dots jump out at you, or advance, when paired with light Cararra marble.
