I love the tile behind the stove. Could you please provide more information regarding that specific tile? Also, we have a 6 burner Viking stove with grill. It has a stainless steel hood that has heat lamps and a backing (where the tile is in this picture) with a stainless shelf for sitting food to be kept warm. I REALLY do not like the stainless back as it is hard to keep clean. We want to add tile, but need a shelf for warmer. What kind of shelf do you have here above the stove? Much appreciation for your answer. »
Anderson Design Studio The tile we used in the kitchen was a variation of Amber, Grey, and Bone ceramic tiles. As for the shelf, we had a stainless shelf created to match the stove. However, I am unsure if it would provide the heating element that you need. Hope that helps!
Anderson Design Studio Thanks for your comment! This was a custom pattern of some great ceramic 2 x 6 tiles, we found them at Renaissance Tile in Nashville.
Books and knickknacks are the usual props for shelves, but what about a slew of candles? Come nighttime, this living room will be adequately lit and incredibly cozy.
Scott - I like the concept of modern organic. I would be more modern in the fireplace area, but the kitchen mix of warm-colur modern materials is nice.
