suecochran819 I have a bed swing.... It really glides more than swings because it is attached at each corner. Check out vintageporchswings.com for some great designs.... Made in Charleston, SC

Rock-a-bye-baby! This bed gives a whole new meaning to the floating-the-bed concept. A bed like this needs space so it can sway a little without banging into anything. I haven't ever slept in a bed like this, but I love swings, so I think I'd love this too!

Love the barn-cottage feel, but I just don't know how practical a hanging bed is. What if you were sleeping and one of the supports came loose and knocked you unconscious? Aside from the detached support and the lump on your head, there would be no evidence that you didn't simply pass in your sleep. Engineering failure. Sorry. (This was a joke, in case you couldn't already notice; however, I do think a hanging bed is a bit too impractical for my future home.
