is this a curbless shower and are there restrictions when designing this? I like the seamless flow from bath floor into shower and where is the drain?

John Whipple - By Any Design ltd. There are lots of restrictions in this type of renovation in commercial spaces. In residential you may need to get permission and the inspectors will want to see that the shower drains and does not build up.
Adding a secondary drain outside the shower will offer up a more protection and we try and avoid showers like this on basement renovations in case of a small blockage and back up.
Let there be light! Natural light is much more flattering than fluorescent light, and when is this more important than you're walking past a mirror in the buff?
Place the windows up high for privacy. Nestled among the trees, this bathroom and its expansive high windows must be a real joy to be in every morning. The high windows in the shower frame a leafy view that makes this bathroom feel like a treehouse.
