The other of the two rooms at the top of the house is set up as a sitting area but is also designed for use as a bedroom. "We call this room the convertible," Urrutia says. The big window looks down on the staircase.
Give your home office an interior view. Working from home can be a bit dreary if you're tucked away in a plain box of a room. French doors and an interior window let the sun shine in and give you a different scene to rest your eyes on. If you want to be able to look outside, line up your interior door or window with a window in the next room.

use this idea in entrance hall: the French doors to lounge, and a mirrored frame, or perhaps just mirror floor to ceiling to echo on the wall by the front door, with a console table in front. Throwing light into the dark hall way.
