Modern but far from cold. The cabinet color, the window displaying nature, the wall hangings, the touch of human activity in the bowl of lemons and flowers in the sink--all create an intimate balance.
I like the proportions of the small to large windows, asymmetrical and the functional small one seems to closely match the far left small window in size.
The emphasis in this kitchen isn't the kitchen at all, it's the view from the window. The green painted finish on the cabinetry under the window and the wood tones everywhere else honor that view and keep the attention exactly where it's supposed to be in this case.
In this bright mid-century modern kitchen, blonde wood cabinets unite effortlessly with painted teal cabinets for an equal mix of natural and colorful cabinet finishes.
I love the height in this kitchen. We have a lot of height to work with in our kitchen too, but the current design feels heavy and draws your eyes down. Would be good to lead the eye upwards instead.
