Decoupage is an old italian art that originally started in the churches to decorate lanterns, windows, boxes, and other revered items. When Karen was in high school she and her mother, Irene, took a course called cutting paper mosaics inspired by decoupage master, Mary Delany, where they learned to make elaborate patterns inside boxes with tiny pieces of paper. Over the years, Karen has perfected this art and she is now unveiling this beautiful line of decorative platters and plaques that are all hand-crafted in the USA.
