Is it slippery at all? We are thinking of making all of our bathrooms granite slabs and connecting the look onto the tubs and showers but hesistate of how cold and slippery it could all be.

We did this for a client about 9 years ago. One thing to keep in mind, granite slabs are VERY heavy and if your doing them on a second floor or a crawl space you must make sure you have the correct trusses or "I" joists in place to carry the weight. As for cold, I think it's fine as granite absorbs both heat and cold, so it depends what temp you keep your home at. But they are slippery with wet feet :)
