The slot window in the brickwork shines a slice of sun through living room when the sun is westering. The wide window is just at elbow height for the built in reading nook behind. Timber panel windows allow breeze through the house, but guard the privacy of the neighbours. The brickwork is carefully selected to meet the earth tones of the hillside to hide the house amongst the trees, protecting the view to the house from the bay.
