I anxiously built my first fire while hosting a party of about 30 people. It was at this point that I realized that I would have to climb into the fire pit to build fires. I didn't really realize how huge it was until this particular day. We still get a kick out of it. Tip: For us, a large fire pit fits in nicely with the size of our yard. When you are in your planning stages, keep the size of your yard in mind so it doesn't look too big or too small.
