Color Inspiration: Thoughts on Black Kitchens? We love the sleek, somewhat daring look of a very black (or just partially black) kitchen. Realizing this dramatic twist on a happy-go-lucky kitchen experience (like yellows, pinks and lots of sunshine) isn't for everyone, we're wondering about your thoughts on black in the kitchen -- in various forms. Examining those choices, I guess I don't like "slick" black kitchens, ones that seem too contrived (almost like too much make-up, too-slick) and appear to exclude children.
