Glass Rigging Large Windows

During replacement: Modern home in chappaqua, ny. This home featured extensive glass- the six panels shown here were not only single glazed, but annealed (non safety). One piece had been broken and posed potential risk. The homeowner grew increasingly aware of the potential threat and was anxious to fix and bring the other pieces up to code.

Do to the size of each piece: approximately 108" x 105". Rigging glass was required. The broken piece proved especially complicated due to the age of the glass and its unpredictable breaking pattern.

Existing glass: 3/8" clear annealed- non safety.
Weight of each piece: 576.05lbs.

Replaced with: 3/8" clear tempered safety glass.
Weight of each piece: 576.05

Furnished and Installed by ATM Mirror and Glass
