Timelessly Tailored
Transitional Kitchen, DC Metro
The client was seeking to open the kitchen up to the warm adjacent family room but couldn't visualize how it would look. Working with the constraints of the beam located in the wall a faux beam was created to the right of the island as photographed. This kitchen is quite a transformation from the outdated and awkward layout. Now a place open for the family and kids to do homework without getting in the way of the cooking triangle. The warm pallet with hints of grey and blue provide a nice soothing backdrop for this boisterous family.
