The moment I walked up the stairs to this apartment and saw the ballustrade I couldn't believe it. It's so beautiful and I wanted to mimic the design with the Moorish fabric used on the chaise and the motif on the drum side table.... this space was not being used and when I proposed the idea of the chaise and table my client was a little skeptical.... but I feel it's a nice transition from kitchen to living room, you can place your keys on the table when you get home and it adds extra seating at cocktail parties and somewhere to place your drink!
