Project Green Landscape Studio This is definitely a custom build, as I notice some material used are from one of my suppliers, and the block work used on the sides are built in place. Had it been a pre-cast, it would be impossible to move as it 's about 2m in length and probably weighs a ton. We specialize in built-in water features, and prefer not to use pre-cast models as every project, home-owner and house is unique.
The water appears to be traveling from indoors to out as well. This yard was so well-thought out. The sound of the water also helped to drown out the sounds of the 'hood...
This was on the Modern Atlanta House Tour. The trough-like fountain and pool are placed so cleverly at the edge of the house and the patio. This architect clearly had a great grasp on materials and had a lot of fun doing unexpected things with them.
A design feature. Rills can be used solely as a design feature, providing a strong architectual line through a garden, patio or yard. They can define areas and create movement in enclosed areas. This small, raised rill with its minimalistic style and strong lines fits so well into this contemporary design. It is a case where simple restraint in design has worked.
Get rid of the still water. Make sure you don't have any standing water around your yard, be it a still pond, puddle, birdbath or that garbage can lid you forgot was there months ago. If you have a fountain or another source of water, make sure it's always moving. This will keep mosquitos from breeding.

Runnel. It's plumbed in the wall of the house. Tricky to accomplish without ruining the home. What if there's a crack. The foundation is compromised and so are the walls, flooring, etc
