Harrell Remodeling Great observation! This photo was taken a number of years ago, but what may have happened is the photo shoot was done prior to getting some of the small fixtures in, such as a towel bar or in this case the TP holder!
Harrell Remodeling First, the glass is set into a thin metal channel that is fixed to the surface of the shower wall and pony-wall, creating a L-shaped frame. Once the glass slides into the channel, the channel and glass edges are topped with a bead of silicon adhesive to keep water from settling in the trim. Also, note that the top of the pony-wall is sloped slightly to keep water from building up on the on the wall and glass trim.
