• So he jumped onto that train wearing only the clothes he had on, some change in his pocket, and a lot of hope.
• Upon arriving in East Point, GA, he walked across the tracks and into the Main Street of town.
• There, he saw a grocery store and a bakery.
• The last few pennies he had went towards the purchase of a loaf of bread and some cookies from these two establishments.
• With only hope left, the young man began seeking his fortune in Atlanta.
• Years later, the young man and his son established a company in these same buildings.
• The young man was Robert E.
