What type of mattress? - What type of mattress should you use for a Jenny Lind bed with wood slats? Do i need a box spring & mattress or an innerspring mattress or just a regular mattress? About to transition my toddlers from crib to antique Jenny Lind beds & wondering what mattresses to get. Thx for any help! »
Emily Hurley I have kids beds from the Land of Nod as well, though different models. They have wood slats as well. I have always skipped the box spring and gone with regular mattresses.
Annie Thornton Hey @jetreal, it looks like this is only available in twin and full size. Spindle beds are a pretty popular style so you should definitely be able to find a bed similar to this in a queen size. Happy hunting and I will definitely keep my eyes peeled!
Hamptons houses tend to be geared up for large family get-togethers, so you need at least one bedroom that's kitted out dormitory-style for the kids. I like these twin beds for their simplicity, and would enjoy picking out mismatched patchworks and handblock prints for the sheets.
