Appreciate the beauty of the winter garden. Even without snow, there is stark beauty in the winter garden. Hoarfrost, or frozen dew, transforms plants into lace. Grasses, such as this native switchgrass (Panicum virgatum) are particularly showy when coated with hoarfrost.
