gschneider It was a beveled edged mirror I found at Goodwill, I believe, & used a glaze (found at Hobby Lobby) dabbed onto a common plastic grocery bag dappled lightly onto the surface of the mirror. I did have to play around at first with how much I crunched up the bag / how much glaze I got oin the bag / how much glaze I dabbed off first onto a paper towel before applying to mirror - you get the idea, I'm sure. I found that a lighter amount & lighter touch worked out best for me, otherwise it looked fake.

I've attached a pic of another one I did the same way from our dining room - it was done first & a little bit more heavy handed.
