Ronique Gibson Soft bedroom lighting can be from several sources. The best bet is to have more than one option/source for your lighting so that it can be customized for mood, reading, tasks, etc..
Consider having reading lights at the sides of the bed. 3 way bulbs are a good option for varying degrees of lighting. Wall sconces on either side of the bed can be for ambiance and/or task lighting.
For overhead ambient lighting choose a pendant fixture, recessed can lights or even a soothing chandelier (not the huge one's that go in a grand foyer).
Depending on how large your bedroom is you can also have wall washing lights in a soft wattage from behind the bed, or soft cove lights from overhead in a tray ceiling.

I love the idea of using a round oversized ottoman, but I'm not convinced the accent pillows would provide enough support for hours of reading. Beautiful room!
