The colors of your canopy bed say a lot about the mood it sets. Even if you're tucked inside of this enclosed canopy, you can't really be all shut in and feeling morose because of the bright pink color of the curtains. This is a great canopy bed for a teenage girl!
Pink is undeniably feminine and, truth be told, I still love it. What I really like about this space, though, is the way the girly-girl colors (and the drapery) are balanced by very clean, straightforward lines and simple art. It's an excellent example of combining the masculine with the feminine.
A room that is primarily decorated in pink works really great when you add bold yellow accent pieces to it. The piece of artwork on the wall here is a terrific example of that. A bold yellow vase on the table would also work well here.
WatermelonWhat's summer without sinking your teeth into a giant slab of watermelon, juice running down both arms? This sunny space feels every bit as crisp and refreshing as the real deal.
Creating a room of nearly all pink was a brave move and it works! The utilitarian side table in a deep shade of pink brings in a contrasting element that helps make this design work.
