This light fixture is so full of drama and, in a less clean, perfect room, it would be a disaster. But this space is the perfect match for its rough construction.

And I love this vibrant dining room, which shows off the social side of the city, as well as its fun personality.

This mosaic-like painting is a serious focal point. The chandelier is another striking piece, yet it doesn't compete. Most importantly, look at how wide the table is - it can stand up to the size of the artwork and is not overwhelmed by it, as a standard size table would be.

Yeah, probably one of the best minimalist, modern dining rooms I've set my eyes on. Not to mention the designer, Amy Lau, is one of my biggest designer crushes. Here's proof.

I can't decide what grabs my attention more, the chandelier or the art wall.

I think they were trying to achieve balance by using the same chair in different colors on each side of the table. Black on one side, white on the other. Plus, the exaggerated width of the table. It's probably just because I don't care for the art work, at all.
