I'm someone who constantly tweeks her living space, so the idea of having a blackboard as easily changeable decor highly appeals to me. They now make really fun, bright chalk-like pens that show up beautifully on chalkboards--they're common in coffeehouses like the ones where my roommates work--and they would fit nicely with my love for color :)

There's so much that's cool about this chalkboard border that I'm not quite sure where to start. I love the actual look of it, first of all, but I also like the way it contrasts with the traditional interior, and the fact that it can constantly change.

Wow - talk about a display of candles there! You have every size all together so that they create a piece of artwork without even being lit. This is a great way to store candles so they decorate the home when they aren't in use. I like the fact that these are all the same color but I wonder how neat it would look if they were all different?!

Dinner guests would never get bored.
