Historic house in Centerport

The Master Bath was redesigned, pretty much in the space that existed before. Careful space planning yielded room for a recessed custom rustic cherry vanity, topped in an amazing piece of honey onyx, featured a hammered Bates and Bates sink.

The original Master Bath was designed with two doors- one leading from the Master Bedroom, and the other to an adjacent Sitting Room.

The vanity was recessed along the wall that lead to the Sitting Room.

What tile backsplash was used? It looks like a herringbone pattern.

Actually, it is Amazon Gold Honed Zig Zag, which came in 12x12 sheets. It was the same marble variety used for the chair rail, bars, 6x6 and 12x12 field tiles. Here is a link: http://www.allstone.net/products/i/18/

I custom designed this vanity- it was not a stock unit. It is detailed to make use of every inch of the 60" that I had.
