The Suma Desk Lamp, a 1998 Jordi Miralbell and Mariona Raventos design from Santa & Cole, meets the challenge of light vs. the computer screen. With a structuralist air, the Suma Desk Lamp has an ingenious way of projecting light while avoiding glare. Its swing arm increases the angle at which light can be directed.

Santa & Cole is located in Barcelona Spain. It received the distinction of adhering to strict environmental and socioeconomic standards by the Forest Stewardship Council. Santa & Cole is represented in the United States by Ameico, a Connecticut company.

The Suma Desk Lamp, by Santa & Cole, features a 12-Volt transformer and a Satin-nickel finish. It has an adjustable swing arm, and a flexible stem that can be angled. A solid steel, cylinder base hosts the on/off dimmer switch that can adjust two Halogen lamps. An aluminum reflector increases light output, protects the light bulb and keeps the shade cool, and a small black rubber handle provides an attractive contrast to the metal arm.

Lighting: The Suma Desk Lamp provides direct/ diffused lighting. It utilizes two, 20- to 50-Watt GY6 Halogen lamps (not included).

This item usually ships within 3 to 5 business days.
