Wine and Rec Room Remodel

Morse Remodeling Inc, and Custom Homes designed and constructed room renovation: Project entailed removing a wall between the existing billiards room and dining room to create a more user friendly and open environment for entertaining. The combined spaces get much more use and can be closed off from the adjacent living room/kitchen area beyond the glass pocket doors. Custom designed and carefully crafted beams cantilever from the two stone columns and create a floating shelf system to display various glass artwork. Low voltage LED accent lights were used to highlight the artwork on the distressed Douglass Fir solid wood beams. Existing engineered wood flooring in the billiards room was extended to the new wine tasting room and new low voltage accent lights were installed to illuminate specific areas in the room. Venetian plaster was added to the back wall surface to provide a unique backdrop to the art wall.
