CoorItalia I agree that they look like reclaimed french or italian terracotta tiles. The fact that there appear to be "ridges" at the edges makes them look handmade. They are similar to these from some of our past projects
www.LUXURYSTYLE.es its like as spanish handmade terracotta floor tiles.Similar tiles was used in our areas - in spain in many old colonial houses and also in wine cellars. If someo looking for these similar tiles, please check out our web site,we have very large quantity available : WWW.LUXURYSTYLE.ES
The freshness of the white counter, walls and ceiling above the dark gray base cabinets is very visually pleasing in this kitchen. And the lack of upper cabinets gives the room a very quaint, "I feel like I'm vacationing in a cozy cottage somewhere in the French countryside" feel. What an inspiring place to cook in!
An example of darker base cabinets and the upper shelves, walls, window trim and countertop, sharing the same shade of white. The darker section serving as a foundation, the larger white areas in perfect balance. A look that is gaining more recent attention as a "built-in" feeling. Very spacious look.
I like the color of the cabinets, something I hadn't considered because of my flooring, but seeing a similar flooring in this picture makes me rethink my color choice.
