CoorItalia I agree that they look like reclaimed french or italian terracotta tiles. The fact that there appear to be "ridges" at the edges makes them look handmade. They are similar to these from some of our past projects

The freshness of the white counter, walls and ceiling above the dark gray base cabinets is very visually pleasing in this kitchen.
