karen paul interiors In my opinion, it is always meaningful to be aware of line as well as scale. Perfect case in point is the horizontal line and rectangular shape of the subway tile, which remembers the horizontal and rectangular shape of the cabinet hardware. The scale of one with the other is not competitive. The small with the larger gives visual reassurance.
