Mark English Architects, AIA Hi, I wish I could be more helpful, but these are German cabinets with a proprietary veneer- meaning they won't say what it is or how they prepped it. To me it looked like a tropical wood like teak that had been bleached.
robarillo I have read that resilient flooring is water resistant but not waterproof. What are the risks in a bathroom? Can it be used in a curbless shower recess?
Paul Anater Those cabinets are custom-made, they're not something you'll find off the shelf. Any good cabinet maker can make them for you. That floor is a porcelain tile, probaly something like DAL Tile's Fabrique series: http://www.daltileproducts.com/series.cfm?series=228#3347
Don't forget the cabinetry. Walls and floors are not the only place for a touch of the outdoors. Consider finishing your cabinets with a wooden face. The texture alone will do wonders for your bathroom, allowing you to keep the rest of the space neutral and light.
