Mark English Architects, AIA Hi, it's a Kynar painted (factory painted) metal roofing product. I don't remember the color, but most manufacturers have a similar "copper" like color.
rendering or actual - i have come back to this photo over and over. it could be my monitor or my untrained eye but this looks like a render to me. is it an actual house or a computer model. either way it is very well done. the design is nice and the construction looks flawless. »
Mark English Architects, AIA Hi, it's the real thing- look at the planters with no plants! The clean lines do make for a very graphic presentation of the building, less so now that the landscaping has grown up.
jamesg46 its a nice design , i like the scale like this it blends into its surroundings. i thought if it was a render that the artist even put unfinished planters. its seems a lot of people like this house maybe a follow up photo would be nice?
Does the chimney top have a cap on the top? Do you have closer picture you can provide? - I want to replace my chimney cap and this is something I really like in terms of design and aesthetics. Don't know if it is functional though.
Thanks. »
With this potential idea, I am not saying we would replace your doors or any of the glass. There are companies and products that we could use to get this effect. I also like the horizontal pieces to the right and left of the entry door that break that up and add "architecture" and interest.
love the doors and the way light is captured to bring to the back of the house - this would mean raising the ceiling in the old part of the house however - too expensive
