Desire to Inspire I wonder what it would cost to have one made. Might be worth looking into. It's something that is timeless and works in any room so might be worth spending a few $$$.
Do you have any idea where you got your shoe rack? I have a similar one and am looking for more. I can not seem to remember where i got it! -Also love your kitchen and the chairs!

7. Think about composition - Artsy hooks make for a sculptural wall when there aren't any coats on it. Using the clear shelving unit in the corner keeps a more open and less cluttered look.
This is a great back door solution for keeping snowy boots and mucky shoes from glopping up the rest of the house. Buy an inexpensive (but cute as all-get-out) rug from IKEA and provide a rack so that this footwear never makes it a few feet past the back door.
4. Make organization obvious. Let's face it: No one in your family is going to keep things neat and clean unless you make it ridiculously easy. Make sure that it's clear where everything goes in the entryway so that there's no confusion. Put out shelves for bags and scarves, little bowls for change and a rack to keep shoes tidy. Look for open containers for the smaller but important items — like keys or cellphones — so that they're easily visible and accessible on your way out the door. Hooks, baskets and bins should all be labeled.
A small storage unit or shelves of some sort will also do the trick. Once you get in the habit of placing your purse there everyday, you won’t think to put it anywhere else.

Don't scrimp on hooks! It can be tempting to pick up those stick-on plastic doohickeys from the drugstore, but please don't. Go for a more permanent solution — it's nothing a little spackle and touch-up paint can't cover when you move out.
Tuck in a corner shelf. These wire shelves are great for stashing umbrellas, gloves, backpacks and other supplies needed just before someone dashes out the door.
quizas tampoco es necesario un gran mueble, si ponemos un muro falso entoncespodriamos organizar algo como esto, claro acá falta el banquito!

something very basic and functional near our entryway would be great....but i love your seated bench idea....if possible to slip some big baskets underneath for shoes

we have a closet so I'm not too crazy about going mudroom with hooks. The kids friends throw their coats on the floor now that green bench is gone. Kids are leaving. Not an action item.

I like the installed hooks. I don't like the shoe rack- I would prefer something more polished and contained. I also would prefer piece that combined a shoe rack and shelves

Love Yellow interior for door!!!! Love it's openness, too! Right shape for entry! Shoes below, hooks above. A little open shelving in the corner for display or necessary items.
