This muli-colored pottery vessel sink/basin was part wheel thrown and part handbuilt. I added a special lip on the exterior which allows the sink to sit up about 4" above counter, sinking 2 1/2 " below countertop. High-fired to cone 10 (around 2280 degrees) using tested glazes, these sinks will keep their luster and look forever. My sinks are stronger and more durable than anything you will find on the market. I use one of the strongest clays on the market, containing a heavy percentage of grog in 3 different sizes. This vessel measures in at 15" wide, 6 1/2" tall. It has a multitude of glazes applied all over, creating a flowing, nontraditional finished product.

History:

Stonefly Ceramics has been producing sinks, handmade tiles, and installations for homes for over 15 years now, selling in galleries, shops, and home decor showrooms around the Southeast. Every sink is made is one-of-a-kind, never to be reproduced.
