This tiny back yard space connects the patio to the side alley. The recirculating fountain is the focal point from both perspectives. Slate nugget gravel is used as the pathway. We edged that with granite cobblestone. Both materials compliment either the patio or the materials on the house. A hedge of sasanquas provides an evergreen backdrop for the fountain and screens the view of the neighbors. Other plants in this area are boxwoods, thyme, rosemary and black eyed susans.
