Tiffany Eastman Interiors, LLC It really all depends on your ceiling height.....can u give me some more info, like how wide is desk, height of ceiling, etc....
I have recently purchased the Bungalow 5 Chloe Mirror Black mirror that I want to put in my entry way. There is no room for a console table and the mirror is too narrow for the wall. Any ideas of wall pieces to add on each side of the mirror?
Thanks!!! »
Tiffany Eastman Interiors, LLC Hi There...
In order to add some impact on the wall, I would add two smaller prints or painting on each side...place them lightly lower than center of mirror....this will give you space to add two even smaller prints or paintings above....you can do 4 all the same size also and place them symmetrically, but the two different sizes tend to be my preference...or instead of smaller prints on top, two clean plates, oval shape maybe?, will play off the geometric nature of the mirror and can be very pretty....because the mirror is so "new" looking, dont be afraid to add a little age and go with clean prints in antique frames..the depth of this room came from the age of the accessories which is hard to see...the console is vintage so the mirror on it was aged looking, so was the mirror above it...vintage lamp but with a new lucite base and new shade, actually most of the accessories were finds that werent perfect or were vintage and really brought warmth to a palette that could be cold...hope this helps!
Tiffany Eastman Interiors, LLC Hi There
both console and desk were purchased at a consignment shop.....the desk was originally a medium toned wood veneer that I had lacquered high gloss black.....sorry I couldnt be more helpful!
An orchid makes a major impact when reflected in a nearby mirror. Tiffany Eastman Interiors uses both a hanging mirror and a mirrored console to showcase this beautiful bloomer.
Style Secret: Mirrored FurnishingsMirrored consoles, chests or tables are a must in an art deco room. While you don't want to go crazy with them (the space shouldn't feel as if you can never escape your reflection), two or three judiciously chosen pieces help to bounce light around and bring the sparkle. Glam it up: Hang a framed mirror above a mirrored piece of furniture for a dramatic one-two punch. The white bamboo that surrounds the mirror in this living area blends into the background just enough to avoid overshadowing the mirrored table that's the real star of the room.
5. Office boutique. Stylize the office with floor-to-ceiling draperies of your choice to cover shelving behind the desk. This is an easy way to dress your space to the nines.
