Tiffany Eastman Interiors, LLC It is perfect!! its the palest gray....I want to say it was called Hudson Pearl and was purchased thru New England Stone in Milford Connecticut
Chair rail and wainscot - Tiffany, is this just wooden paneling in the sides or is it a stone slab with chair rail? Could you provide the details of this please? Such a nice little space. I am currently redoing my powder bath and have ordered the Luzenia sink and console from Porcher with a gooseneck faucet from Rohl. I am placing 10x14 calacotta porcelain tile behind the sink, but would like to put wainscot on the other 3 walls. I believe the look will be similar to what is here when complete. Thank you. Your work is always lovely. »
vwhit Tiffany, thank you for responding. Can you tell me if the walls are painted under the chair rails or is this part of the wainscot design? I have shown this picture to the contractor, but wanted to make sure I am translating the correct information. Thank you so much again. I will send you a picture when it is done:) I hope it is as pretty as yours.
Tiffany Eastman Interiors, LLC hard to tell in pic but the walls are painted, actually lacquered....so in answer to your question, there is drywall under chairrail, not wood or paneling....
Tiffany Eastman Interiors, LLC Thank you!!! I used white thassos polished marble, 12" x 12" tiles, that I cut down to 4 x 12, and layed out in a herringbone pattern......
Urbana ~ Designer Ellen Crystal this was the type of vanity fabricated in years gone by. it is simply a stone top with undermount sink. Any reputable stone fabricated can size this for you. Wide set faucets (check Kohler) . All the drains etc need to be chrome plated. The frame work is done with chrome tubing. Many suppliers who do railings for stairs & foot rests along bars (remember the 70's & 80's) have the tubing you'd need to recreate. It looks like 2" dia. Note the joints are T shapes to marry the various tubes together. If you show a reputable plumber & contractor this vanity they should be able to recreate with the parts mentioned. If they start scratching their heads... they aren't capable of thinking outside the box. Move on until you find someone who understands your concept... It's really quite easy! Tiffany Eastman Interiors, LLC Hi.....This is actually all polished nickel, as well as the Rohl faucet.....i did have the stone fabricated separate from the base but purchased the base thru Klaffs of Norwalk Ct
Jade Unless you're given the actual colour by the decorator or the homeowner, you'd be unwise to take advice from someone who doesn't have that information.
The colour in the photo is probably not true to it's real appearance, and a guess at a "similar" colour could be way off what you're looking for.
Tiffany Eastman Interiors, LLC Hi....the lusterstone technique was applied by an artisian.....the resulting finish looks a bit like a raw silk in person....anna is right....pictures always change the color, interestingly enough this picture is almost dead on in regards to the color in person, although in person because of the finish and technique, there is alot more depth that the picture does not show.....but in saying that, saying something is similiar might not do the trick.....sorry I couldnt be more helpful but this was truely a custom mix......
