katey5212 I just created this same ceiling in my bedroom, I did not go gloss as a finish I went semi gloss. It is so pretty! I didn't want all the reflection of a high gloss ceiling since I have such large windows. Just thought I would add that if anyone wondered as I did about the alternative finish and not doing gloss like this. I truly thank the poster for this picture, it really was an inspiration! My recessed lights are not on the ceiling, mine are on the header around the room and I added two reading recessed lights over each bedside. I have one single light in the middle of the room on a separate dimmer for a crystal chandelier. My walls are Benjamin Moore Shale and Cotton Balls for the ceiling. Just giving ideas.

TVCoverups Looking at this I realized I attached the wrong picture. Here we have a compartment covered by speaker cloth on the left and right. DVD and Cable are on the left and a karaoke machine is on the right!

meh2 I'm building a home, need to pick video and electrical. I want a flat screen tv on MB wall like what you have. Please tell me more about the remote what kind it is and how it works with the control box in another room? Also are you with any satelitte company?

katey5212 I made mine out of crown molding, putting the shallow side against the wall. I have the exact same ceiling too. It looks quite beautiful. Any carpenter can make this easily. There are also a lot of companies out there that specialize in this if you just want to get one made to order.

bcnb40 This is an engineered floor. Du Chateau is the manufacturer. It is from the Lugano collection (a wire brushed white oak)

sprattliz so the floors were installed with this finish? if so, how can i get my wide plank pine to look like this?
