Robert Shuler Design Hi,
here in CA we often use redwood.
This pergola is redwood and the horizontal rafters are 4x6

Robert Shuler Design depending on the stone, this happens to be Carmel Stone, fairly expensive @ $950 a ton, but the range is anywhere from $7,000 to $12,000.00 in our area.
