Glenna Partridge Garden Design It looks like a single red herbaceous peony to me. Peonies flower in May or June for about 3 weeks. The foliage looks very nice in a perennial border (even after the flowers are finished) for the rest of the year. There are a lot of different peonies you can find....single flowered, double flowered, all sorts of colours. I hope this helps!
