Is the faucet sized for a sink rather than a tub? Is that ok? I have similar problem of too small a space for a large tub filler and am wondering if a smaller faucet will work. Thanks. (I'm assuming this question will be linked to the appropriate photo . . . ) »
Bill Fry Construction - Wm. H. Fry Const. Co. This faucet really does look like a tub filler faucet. It would be too large for a sink faucet. You want make sure that you get the right size faucet for your tub because you want to make sure that the water hits the bottom of the tub, not the sides. Your local plumbing showroom should be able to provide you advice for which faucets will go with the tub you select. One way to conserve space is to have your tub filler wall mounted. Another is to have the tub filler mounted on the tub itself such as with this image. Some tubs require that the tub filler be mounted either on the deck or on the wall. :) Rhoda
