Help w/ look direction? - Love the stone look, but cannot afford since all our walls are plaster and would have to be gutted, rebuilt and then stoned. Not financially able to do. Is there a manufactured wall board that give look w/o having to totally gut house? »
How much would something like this cost? - I really love the stone work and the contrast. I live in Maryland and would love to do something very similar, but it looks very expensive. »
Create a cozy atmosphere. Layer dark textures, like stone and wood. Avoid bright overhead light and integrate something softer, like iron wall sconces. If you have a fireplace, even better. A roaring log fire crackling in the background adds gentle light and warmth.Consider installing wainscoting or some type of wood paneling on your walls to create visual warmth and texture.
I like the chairs, the masonry, the pool table, the light fixtures, and the natural colors. I do not dislike anything. I feel like it is influenced by craftsman style because it has an arched bar thing, and it uses natural and neutral colors.
