Combine an office space with a sitting area. Do you have a sitting area somewhere in your home where you can add a desk? There are some rooms that make perfect sense as dual-function spaces. Notice the great shade of lavender on the comfy chair. Consider reupholstering a chair that can help define a space as "for her."
